Our Team
Achilleas Miltsanidis
Achilleas Miltsanidis is the founder of Smart Tax Advisors.
He studied Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, holds a postgraduate degree in Tax Law, and is a member of the Athens Bar Association.
In 2007, he began his career at a Big Four firm, joining its tax department after completing his traineeship. He worked across all areas of taxation, but soon specialized in personal taxation and shipping, and was appointed Head of the Individual Taxation Department.
In 2020, with the aim of creating the first company in Greece to offer integrated family office services, he founded Smart Tax.
Today, maintaining a strong client base and having already staffed the company with specialized and experienced professionals, he continues to expand the range of services offered, with the goal of fully covering the needs of its clients.
Elia Serfioti
Elia Serfioti has been a member of the Smart Tax Advisors team since July 2021.
She studied Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting and Financial Management at the Athens University of Economics and Business, holds an MBA from the same university, and is a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece.
In 2010, she began her career providing accounting and tax services at an accounting firm. In 2015, she moved to a Big Four firm, joining its tax department and specializing in personal taxation matters.
Sotiris Batsakis
He studied Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, holds a postgraduate degree in Tax Law, and is a member of the Athens Bar Association.
In 2008, after completing his traineeship, he began his career practicing law. In 2012, he joined a Big Four firm, becoming part of its tax department and specializing in personal taxation and immigration law matters.
Christina Polychronaki
Christina Polychronaki has been a member of the Smart Tax Advisors team since February 2023.
She studied Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed studies under the ERASMUS+ program at the Faculty of Law of the University of Orléans in France. She has been a registered member of the Athens Bar Association since February 2021.
After completing her eighteen-month traineeship as a trainee lawyer, she began her professional career in 2021 at a law firm and now forms part of our team.
Maria Mikelli
Maria Mikelli has been a member of the Smart Tax Advisors team since December 2021.
She holds a Law degree from the School of Law, Political and Economic Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, has a postgraduate degree in Tax Law, and is an active member of the Athens Bar Association.
In 2004, she completed her traineeship at a law firm in Nicosia, Cyprus. She then continued her career as a practicing lawyer, initially in Nicosia and later in Athens. In 2011, she joined the tax department of a Big Four firm in Greece, specializing in real estate taxation matters.
